Pip’s Bunny Jump is a free jumping game for kids that you play with just one button. Pip the bunny hops through a sunny meadow on his own, and your job is to jump over bushes, rocks, mushrooms and logs at the right moment. Collect shiny stars and crunchy carrots along the way, then spend your stars to unlock new friends like a panda, a kitten and a little fox. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with no download and no sign-up.

How to play

  1. Tap the screen, click or press Space to jump.
  2. Hold a little longer to jump higher.
  3. Tap again in the air for a double jump.
  4. Collect stars and carrots. A carrot is worth 5 stars.
  5. Use your stars to unlock new friends.

Controls

  • Tap the game, click with the mouse, or press Space, the Up arrow or W to jump.
  • Hold the button a little longer for a higher jump. Tap again while in the air for a double jump.
  • Press P or Escape, or the Pause button, to take a break. The game also pauses by itself when you switch tabs.

Tips and strategy

  • Jump a little before the obstacle, not when you are already touching it.
  • Stars often float in an arc above an obstacle. A normal jump over the obstacle collects them all.
  • Stars very high in the sky need a long hold or a double jump.
  • A carrot is worth five stars, so it is worth jumping for.
  • If you bump into something you only lose one heart. Pink hearts sometimes appear to fill you up again.
  • Two bushes in a row? Hold the button longer to stay in the air.

Game modes and difficulty

Every run starts slowly and speeds up very gently the further Pip hops, so young children get time to learn and older kids still get a challenge. You have three hearts per run. Celebrations pop up at 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 metres, and your best distance is saved on your device.

History and background

Running and jumping games are one of the oldest kinds of video games, because they are easy to understand: watch what is coming and jump at the right time. That simple rhythm trains timing, attention and hand-eye coordination.

Pip and the meadow friends were made just for Gemuzi, with gentle colours, no flashing and no pressure. There are no ads inside the game area, nothing to buy, no timers and no account. Stars and friends are stored only in your own browser.
